How does the Q&A tool work?at 25 Oct 2011, 1:49pm
The QA tool is a simple tool for both the community stakeholder and your communications team. You set up your QA by specifying the name of the tool (you don't have to call it QA) and the rest of the text preferences, including emails. Each time a community member asks you a question an email will be sent to a nominated account. You can then choose to respond to the question publicly or privately. When you respond publicly, the response will appear on screen as part of the searchable database. You can aslo tag each question with a series of keywords to make it easer for your community to search and to make it easier for you to keep on top of the highest priority issues.

How does the Q&A tool help me to track critical stakeholder issues?at 25 Oct 2011, 1:50pm
You can keep an eye on issues as they become increasingly important for your stakeholders through a number of metrics - the number of times a tag is used, the number of times a tag is clicked, and the number of times a search term is used. These three metrics combined will provide a strong indication of the key issues.

How are questions moderated on the Q&A tool?at 25 Oct 2011, 1:52pm
Questions are ALL pre-moderated on QA. This means that no question goes live to the site before you have had a chance to review it and think about your response.

Can I answer questions privately using the Q&A tool?at 25 Oct 2011, 1:52pm
You can. If you need more time to prepare a more detailed response you could send the questioner a private message to that effect, or if you think the issue warrants a private explanation you can do this.
